Intervention manuals


Intervention develops and publishes training and training of trainers manuals in the field of psychosocial support in (post) conflict areas. Various respected trainers have drawn on their training methodologies. These texts have been translated into several languages, which can be used by local trainers and aid workers in different countries.

(This manual comes with a dvd of the documentary ‘On the road to peace of mind’ (subtitles in English, Arabic or French). 

These manuals have been disseminated to local organisations, schools and trainers in various countries such as North Ossetia, Ingushetia, the Russian Federation, Georgia, the Palestinian Territories, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, Kosovo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Argentina, Colombia and Peru.

The manuals can either be downloaded free of cost from the website: www.interventionjournal.com, or purchased in hard copy (except for the Albanian and Arabic training of teachers) from the War Trauma Foundation, info@wartrauma.nl.

Inhabitants of low income countries may order the manuals for free, while those from high income countries will be charged € 15,00 per manual, with an additional € 7,50 per order for handling and shipping.
