Towards peace of mind

With great pleasure the World Society of Victimology Symposium Organising Committee, invites you for the 14th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology:  Justice for Victims: Cross-cultural perspectives on conflict, trauma and reconciliation to be held from Sunday 20 to Thursday 24 May 2012 at the World Forum in The Hague, The Netherlands.

The programme covers all aspects of victimology, presenting the state of the art in both its keynote addresses and workshops. Focus will be on three main themes: victim’s rights, transitional justice and trauma and resilience.

The Organising Committee cordially invites representatives from international and regional organisations, academia, civil society organisations and individual experts to register and/or to submit an abstract. The symposium will be preceded by an Introduction to Victimology (EN) on 15 and 16 May 2012. More information about the course can be found on www.14thsymposiumwsv.nl.
